The newly discovered Rywka’s Diary is a powerful historical account of life in the Lodz ghetto recorded in moving detail by a teenage girl during World War II.

During this webinar, participants will explore primary sources in Echoes & Reflections that provide historical context for teaching about life in the Lodz ghetto. Holocaust Center Associate Director Dr. Alexis Herr will share the individual story of Rywka Lipszyc using her powerful words and highlight how her diary can be used in the classroom.
