Among Neighbors North Bay Premiere
One day only: Tuesday, August 12th at 1:00pm and 7:00pm
Winner of international awards, this powerful documentary makes its North Bay debut at the Sonoma County Jewish Film Festival next month.
Using hand-drawn animation to bring the past to life, Among Neighbors explores the story of a small rural town where the longstanding peace between Jewish and Polish neighbors was shattered by World War II.
Directed and produced by award-winning filmmaker Yoav Potash and executive produced by JFCS Executive Director Dr. Anita Friedman, the film centers on the town’s only living Holocaust survivor and an aging eyewitness who saw Jews murdered there—six months after the Nazis were defeated.
