A Story That Demands to Be Told

Directed by Bay Area filmmaker Yoav Potash and produced by Dr. Anita Friedman, Among Neighbors tells the gripping and haunting story of a town where the once-peaceful coexistence between Jewish and Polish neighbors was shattered by World War II. The film is more than just a mystery—it’s a crucial reflection on history’s impact and the urgent need to educate future generations.

In the Q+A that followed the premiere of Among Neighbors, Dr. Anita Friedman, Executive Producer of the film, emphasized the urgent need for Holocaust education, while Aaron Tartakovsky shared his family’s powerful promise to take back the history that had been buried for so many years.
