Apply to the 2026 Winter Institute for Teams

Each participant must register individually. Teams may include classroom teachers, administrators, district leaders, counselors, curriculum specialists, and county office of education representatives. Financial assistance is available to participating LEAs to help cover substitute teacher costs. 
 

Criteria for Participation:

• Currently employed by a California school, school district, or county office of education and serving students in grades 7 – 12
• Applied as part of a team of at least three educators, including at least one administrator
• Teams may include certificated and classified educators and should contain multiple positions, including but not limited to classroom teachers, administrators, district leaders, guidance counselors, school psychologists, curriculum specialists, county office of education leaders, and directors or coordinators whose work supports school culture and student belonging
