Fernando J. Avila has been an educator for 9 years and has served as a school administrator for 8 of those years. As Assistant Principal of Student Affairs and Operations, Fernando fosters a positive school culture and partners with families and faculty to ensure student success. Fernando holds a bachelor’s degree in History from California State University Long Beach, and a master’s degree in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University. Rooted in a passion for social justice, Fernando is dedicated to creating equitable, accessible, and supportive learning environments, empowering students and educators to have positive impacts in their communities.
