It is the expectation of all students accepted into the Manovill Seminar to attend ALL sessions. Please review the list of dates and times, and note any conflicts you may have (extracurricular activities, vacations, etc.) below.

Manovill sessions meet on Tuesdays from 5:30 – 7:30pm, with the exception of graduation/session 8, which will be held on Sunday, May 4 from 3 – 5pm. In-person sessions are held at the JFCS Holocaust Center in San Francisco.

Fees There is a $400 program fee for each student participating in the Manovill Seminar. Financial aid is available for those eligible as the JFCS Holocaust Center is committed to making sure all students have the opportunity to participate regardless of financial circumstance. In addition to your application, we require the names of one educator reference. The educator reference must be a current teacher at your school, and references from relatives and/or personal friends are not accepted. The JFCS Holocaust Center staff will contact this educator and provide them with a Google Form to fill out about their experiences with you. Please note, it is beneficial to include the name of an additional educator reference if your primary contact is unavailable or unable to fill out the reference form; however, the name of a second educator is not required.
