Award-Winning Film “Among Neighbors” Premieres in Warsaw

From award-winning filmmaker Yoav Potash and Executive Producer Anita Friedman, Among Neighbors blends evocative hand-drawn animation, insightful interviews, and raw candid footage to delve into Jewish-Polish relations after World War II. At its heart, the film focuses on the town’s last surviving Holocaust survivor and an elderly witness who recounts the harrowing story of Jews being killed—not by Nazis, but by their own Polish neighbors.

This poignant film premiered at the Polin Museum in Warsaw, Poland last week, and is the winner of the Jewish Film Institute Envision Award.
