Scope and Contents note
The collection is comprised of a book accompanied by four maps. The publication, authored by Edward Kossoy, and published in Germany in 1958, provides information and background about the Holocaust in preparation for claims of restitution and reparation. The publication includes detailed, color maps showing location of German concentration camps in Germany and occupied Europe, prepared by the author. Map 1: Polanen, Frank.., Nord Africa; Map 2: MittelEuropa; Map 3: Polen and Balticum; Map 4: Donaurum and Italia. These maps have been scanned, and are available for viewing via CD.
Edward Kossoy was a pioneer in assisting Holocaust survivors with reparation claims. This publication and its accompanying maps provide information about the Holocaust and its victims to guide restitution-seekers. It may be of special interest to those tracing the history of Holocaust restitution claims.
